PIDA rate drops to near-record levels
By John Kingsley 8/1/2011 8:19pmThe Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loan program is considered by many lenders as the Commonwealth’s top economic development financing vehicle. The recent drop in the interest rate to 3 percent in Lehigh and Northampton counties is noteworthy. LVEDC administers the program in the Lehigh Valley to qualified businesses who want captial for acquring buildings or land, building construction and renovation for manufacturing, industrial and other eligible companies. The program can finance up to $2.25 M and carries a 15-year term.
